The Department of Physics is delighted to congratulate five outstanding graduates who have been awarded the 2026 Academic Achievement Medal, the highest academic honor bestowed by HKUST upon graduating undergraduate students.
The recipients are:
- Mr. WONG Kin Ka (BSc in Physics with Intensive Research Experience)
- Mr. CHAN Ming Kei (BSc in Physics with Intensive Research Experience)
- Mr. WONG Po Leung (BSc in Physics with Intensive Research Experience)
- Mr. TONG Sin Hang (BSc in Physics with Intensive Research Experience)
- Mr. CHEUNG Man Yin (Dual Degree: BSc in Physics with Intensive Research Experience and BSc in Mathematics)
Established in 1994, the Academic Achievement Medal recognizes graduating students who have achieved an average grade of A throughout their studies without any failed courses. Each year, only the top 2–3% of graduates receive this prestigious distinction. The Department extends its warmest congratulations to these awardees on their remarkable academic achievements and wishes them every success in their future endeavors.
