Prof. CHEN Tian Wen received his PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He joined the Department of Physics of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2003, and is currently an Associate Professor of Science Education. Prof. CHEN has been very actively involved in UG/PG education of the department and training of the Hong Kong Physics Olympiad team, and is also in charge of training Physics UG students to take part in outreach activities. He also teaches at the Center for the Development of the Gifted and Talented (CDGT) of HKUST.
