Dr Yee Fai Ng received his BSc (1996), MPhil (1998), and PhD (2002) degrees from the University of Hong Kong (HKU). From 2003 to 2004, he worked at the HKU-CAS Joint Laboratory on New Materials, and the Positron Annihilation and Semiconductor Laboratory of HKU. He joined the Department of Physics of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2005. Besides regular teaching at the Department, Dr Ng also teaches at the Center for the Development of the Gifted and Talented of HKUST.
