The Center for Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics was established to advance research on quantum materials and their theoretical foundations, spanning topological and strongly correlated systems, moiré materials, quantum magnetism, quantum transport, and non-equilibrium dynamics. HKUST researchers at CTCMP develop cutting-edge theory and computational methodologies, foster collaboration with experimental partners, and host international visitors, workshops, and training activities to catalyze discovery.
