Content
In this course, a systematic introduction to modern cosmology will be provided, with the topics including:

Robertson-Walker metric and Friedmann equation

spacetime evolution of the Universe

thermal history of the Universe

Big-Bang nucleosynthesis

cosmic microwave background
-
dark matter and dark energy
-
Inflation
It aims at enabling students to catch up with the progress in cosmology in a timely way, and appreciate the beauty of the science on the Universe.
