HKUST Physics News highlights some of the high impact research accomplishments in the HKUST Department of Physics. The key criterion for being listed in Physics News is that the research must be judged by peer review to be of importance, for example, by publication in a journal with high impact factor (Physical Review Letters or better), or by equivalent evidence of high impact (awards, patents, etc.). HKUST Physics News was inaugurated in March 2004, and therefore it documents a portion of the high impact research from 2003 onward.
For a full overview of research in the department, please see the research and publications section of this website.
